It is the leading producer of air conditioners for homes, businesses, and factories worldwide. Achal Anil Bakeri initiated the 1988 incorporation of Symphony Comfort Systems. The production of air coolers was the company's first product.

The manufacturer first sold room heaters featuring plastic housings, child-safe grills, and thermostatic controls in 1991. During 1991–1992, the business also introduced ventilation fans. Production of household flour mills began in December 1992. Four new air cooler models, including the Sumo Ninja, Mini Sumo, and S-4700, were introduced by the business in 1999–2000. Symphony's Intelligent Cooler series debuted that same year. A new product, Storm, the most prominent tower cooler ever made, was released during the reviewed period and given the name Storm by the manufacturer. On November 11th, 2013, Symphony established a partnership with Carrefour in Indonesia to distribute Symphony Air coolers. The French-based retail giant Carrefour also operates one of Indonesia's major supermarket networks.
