Supriya Lifescience Limited was formed on March 26, 2008, when the partnership business M/s Supriya Chemicals was converted into a public limited company. On April 1, 2008, business activities were launched for the corporation. The corporation makes and sells medicinal chemicals worldwide (APIs). The firm has become one of India's leading APIs (active pharmaceutical ingredients) providers. It places a premium on R&D. Antihistamine, analgesic, anesthetic, vitamin, anti-asthmatic, and anti-allergic are just a few of the many therapeutic areas the firm focuses on with its 39 APIs of March 31, 2021.

Between Fiscal 2017 and 2020, the firm has continuously been the top exporter of Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Ketamine Hydrochloride from India, accounting for 45-55% and 65-70%, respectively, of the API exports from India. In Fiscal 2020, the business expects to be a significant volume exporter of Salbutamol Sulfate from India.

US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), European Union Good Manufacturing Practice (EUGMP), European Quality Management System (EDQM), Singapore Food and Drug Administration (SFDA), New Zealand Medicines and Poisons Authority (ANVISA), Korea Food and Drug Administration (PMDA), Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), and The firm has submitted eleven DMFs to the USFDA and seven CEPs to the EDQM for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) in therapeutic categories such antihistamine, analgesic, anesthetic, vitamin, anti-asthmatic, and anti-allergic as of March 31, 2021. The firm has a state-of-the-art production plant in Parshuram Lote, Maharashtra, from where it operates. A total of 23,806 square meters are devoted to the factory, and the daily reactor output is 332 kiloliters of liquid.

There are now five cleanrooms in operation, and the business is putting up two more that will be commercialized in the first quarter of Fiscal 2022. There will be an increase of 215 KL per day in production because of the additional clean rooms. The business issued and allocated 300,2400 bonus equity shares on March 31, 2012, for Rs 10 per share, at a ratio of 12:1. The firm issued and gave 9757804 Rs 10 equity shares as bonus shares to its shareholders with a ratio of 2:1 on October 1, 2015. The company's equity shares have their face value reduced from Rs 10 to Rs 2 on December 26, 2020. The public offering of Rs 700 crore that the business announced in December 2021 included a new issuance of Rs 200 crore and an offer for sale(OFS) of Rs 500 crore by the founder Satish Waman Wagh.
