About Rossari Biotech
Edward Walter Menezes and Sunil Srinivasan Chari, two career technocrats with a combined 45 years of experience in the speciality chemicals business, launched the company in 2003 under the name Rossari Labtech as a partnership venture. Further, in 2009, it became a corporation and changed its name to Rossari Biotech Limited. The company is focused on producing, selling, and distributing specialized chemicals, and it has two cutting-edge production facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Silvassa, Dadra Nagar and Haveli.
Products serve worldwide FMCG companies and are used in a wide variety of consumer goods, including those focused on personal care, the home, animal health and nutrition, and cosmetics. A total of 500,000,000 Rs.10 par value equity shares were split into 25,00,000,000 Rs.2 par value equity shares during FY2020. To that end, the 4400000 fully paid equity shares of Rs 10 each were divided into the 22000000 equity shares of Rs 2. A total of 26,400,000 Equity Shares with a par value of Rs 2/- have been issued and allocated to qualifying Members of the Company as Bonus Equity Shares, at a ratio of 6(Six) Equity Shares for every 5 (Five) Equity Shares.
In accordance with Sections 42 and 62 of the Act and the Rules made thereunder, the Company has issued and allotted 2352920 Equity Shares with a face value of Rs 2/- each to eligible Qualified Institutional Buyers through private placement in the financial year 2019-20 at an issue price of Rs 425/- per Equity Share, or a premium of Rs 423/- per Equity Share, for a total consideration of Rs 99,999,110,000. Initial Public Offering (IPO) of 116,764,709 Equity Shares of Rs. 2/- each at an issue price of Rs. 425/- per Equity Share, including an offer for sale of 105,000,00 Selling Shares and the new issue of 11,764,709 Equity Shares, was completed by the Company during the second quarter of FY2021.
On July 23, 2020, the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited began trading the company's equity shares.
Rossari Personal Care Products Private Limited (Formerly known as Neutron Impex Private Limited) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company that was involved in the production, export, and import of speciality chemicals, dyes, and other similar products up to 31 March 2015. The Firm has also purchased Buzil Rossari Private Limited, a Joint Venture (JV) company whose primary activity is the Trading of specialized chemicals. At midnight on August 31, 2020, Buzil Rossari Private Limited (BRPL) merged into the Company's structure as a wholly owned subsidiary. In a meeting conducted on 23 March 2021, the Board of Directors authorized the issuance of 3012046 equity shares on a preferential basis in exchange for cash consideration for the fiscal year ending 31 March 2021.
The Company's shareholders authorized the issuing of 3012046 shares with a face value of Rs. 2 each on a preferential basis for Rs. 996 per share, for a total of Rs. 3000.00 million, at the Company's Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on 17 April 2021. As of 21 April 2021, all Company shares have been allocated.
The Company's annual operations and financial performance have been affected by the lockdowns imposed by federal and state authorities to stem the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic. During the year ending 31 March 2021, activities started gradually and cautiously. By March 31, 2021, the company has successfully commissioned its Greenfield manufacturing plant in Dahej, Gujarat. Rossari Biotech rises on getting nod to incorporate wholly owned subsidiary in Bangladesh

Rossari Biotech is currently trading at Rs. 913.85, up by 5.35 points or 0.59% from its previous closing of Rs. 908.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 910.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 913.05 and Rs. 904.80 respectively. So far 1448 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1479.90 on 27-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 795.05 on 20-Jun-2022.
