Pokarna Granites Ltd., which has its headquarters in Hyderabad, was founded by the brothers Gautam Chand Jain and Prakash Chand Jain. The firm manufactures polished random slabs and tiles as part of its core business operations. The business now has operations at two factories and seven quarries.

During the fiscal year 2000-2001, the business paid a total of Rs.752.58 lakhs to Financial Institutions (IDBI, IIBI, and SBT) in order to acquire the assets of Laxmi Granites Limited. As a result of this acquisition, the capacity has been expanded to 167500 sqmt, an increase of 80000 sqmt slabs from its previous level. In the years 2002 and 2003, the installed capacity was increased to a total of 300000 square meters.

Pokarna Limited is an India-based company that operates in the following industries: quarrying, manufacturing and processing, and selling of granite; manufacturing and selling of apparel under the brand name Stanza; and manufacturing, processing, and selling of engineered quartz surfaces. Pokarna Limited also engages in the business of selling engineered quartz surfaces. The company's quarries are responsible for the production of a wide variety of hues, such as Acacia, Black Galaxy, Coffee Brown, Flash Blue, Pokarna Green, Sapphire Blue, Seaweed Green, Silver Pearl, and Vizag Blue. It provides a selection of natural stones to choose from. In addition to granite obtained from Saudi Arabia and Iran, its color palette includes over fifty different types of granite sourced from India.

The residential project of the Company comprises communities such as Tidel Park, Prestige Golfshire Villas, and UB City in Bangalore. Among the company's business endeavors are the Marriott Hotels and the Marriott Countyard. The company also produces garments, which it sells under the brand name STANZA. Both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are home to several of its industrial sites.
