PNB Housing Finance has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2022.
The company has reported rise of 48.21% in its net profit at Rs 272.25 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 183.69 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. Total income of the company increased by 20.57% to Rs 1787.40 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1482.46 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported rise of 42.80% in its net profit at Rs 269.13 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 188.45 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 20.12% to Rs 1796.52 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1495.61 crore for the same quarter in the previous year
The company intends to utilise the net proceeds from the issue towards augmenting its capital base
PNB Housing Finance has received capital markets regulator Sebi's go ahead to raise up to Rs 2,500 crore through rights issue of shares. The housing finance firm, which had filed draft papers with Sebi in December 2022 regarding the rights issue, obtained its 'observations' on March 6, which is necessary for any company to launch the issue.
PNB Housing will issue fully paid-up equity shares of the company by way of a rights issue to its existing shareholders for an amount not exceeding Rs 2,500 crore. The company intends to utilise the net proceeds from the issue towards augmenting its capital base.
