The Honorable National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) of Mumbai, by Order dated 29 April 2020, approved a Scheme of Arrangement between Nectar Biopharma Private Limited (demerged company) and Nureca Private Limited (resulting company) and their respective shareholders and creditors under Section 230 to 232 and other applicable provisions of the Companies Act 2013. This allowed the Company to undergo a demerger.

After a certified copy of the Order was filed with the Registrar of Companies on May 23, 2020 (Effective date), the Scheme went into force. The Scheme went into effect on the Appointed Date, which was April 1, 2019. Under the Scheme of Demerger, some part of the business operations of the demerged firm was transferred by Nectar Biopharma Private Limited from the Appointed date of 1 April 2019.
