Effective October 1, 2007, the Scheme of Arrangement between KEC RPG Transmission (RPGT) and National Information Technologies Limited (NITEL), and MP Power Line Limited, currently known as Octav Investments Ltd.

In 2007-2008, the business completed 21 projects in South Asian markets and 15 projects elsewhere. During the same period, RPG Transmission Limited's Nigerian subsidiary, RPG Transmission Nigeria Limited, was formed. At the International Business Summit and Research Conference in February of 2008, KEC was honored with the Amity Corporate Excellence award. In March 2008, a company called KEC Power India Private Limited was incorporated in the Indian state of Maharashtra with M/s. Power Holdings Inc.

USA as a joint venture partner to provide services including the planning, designing, and developing power transmission and distribution lines, sub-stations, and various types of power generating projects. In September 2008, the firm secured two orders from NTPC Electric Supply Company Ltd. (NESCL) and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), totaling Rs. 124 crores and Rs. 55 crores, respectively.

In 2009, the firm expanded into new areas and completed several large-scale transmission lines, distribution substation, railway electrification, and telecommunications projects. It expanded rapidly into three more countries: Mali, Tajikistan, and Australia. The order from Egypt was the company's biggest overseas order, worth about Rs 636 Crores.

The firm and RPG cables Limited formally merged in 2010 under amalgamation. The business has established a training center in Butibori, providing on-site and off-site training options. The firm has expanded its international reach by receiving orders from emerging countries like Cameroon and Peru and has also re-entered the Kuwaiti market with great success.
