JLSL is a company in the integrated pharmaceutical business with a presence throughout the pharmaceuticals value chain. JLSL is a collaborative and creative supplier of goods and services to the worldwide life sciences sector. Their primary objective is to speed up the process of pharmaceutical medication approval. The company was established on June 21st, 1978.

Drug discovery and development services, bespoke research and manufacturing services, advanced intermediates, fine chemicals, active pharmaceutical ingredients, dosage forms, and regulatory affairs services are some of the products and services that the company provides. Its operations are broken down into three distinct business divisions: Pharmaceuticals and Life Science Products, Industrial Products, and Performance Polymers, respectively. These companies provide goods and services to the Pharmaceuticals, Agrochemicals, Construction, Food & Beverages, Textile, Tyres, and Paper & Packaging sectors so that they may fulfil their customers' requirements.

Throughout its history, Jubilant Life Sciences has established a presence in India and the United States of America, Canada, Europe, and other nations worldwide. Aside from that, we have grown the company by enhancing our skills in-house, as well as via smart expansions and acquisitions. As a consequence of this, we now have a network of seven world-class manufacturing facilities in India and five in North America, as well as a team of approximately 6,100 people from diverse backgrounds working across the globe, of which 1,200 are located in North America and 900 work in research and development.

Through the medium of its Initial Public Offering, the Company entered the capital market in the calendar year 1981. (IPO). To increase the firm's value, commercial manufacturing of vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) was initiated in 1983. In 1985, the company's Research and Development centre was honoured with a commendation from the Government of India. Polyvinyl acetate emulsion was one of the new products that JLSL debuted in the Performance Chemicals market in 1987. This product was designed for use in the paint, textile, paper and packaging, and woodworking industries.

The adhesive product known as Vamicol was the company's first branded product, and it was introduced to the market in 1988. Pyridine and picoline production began in 1990, and in 1995, the firm was awarded an ISO 9001 certification in recognition of the renowned quality management practices it maintains across the company. The plant for food polymer and the facility to produce fine multi-purpose chemicals was commissioned in 1997. The food polymer plant was the first to go online.

After a year, in 1998, JLSL commissioned Pyridine HBR and Cyano Pyridine facilities, as well as joined the market for high-value-added pyridine derivatives. Both the establishment of the company's marketing subsidiary in the United States and the purchase of an acetyl facility in western India took place in the same year.
