About Ganesh Housing Corp
Among the most prominent builders in the Ahmedabad area is Ganesh Housing Corporation Ltd. Company activities include building and developing real estate in the Ahmedabad area. They have various projects in the Integrated Townships and Retail sectors of the Residential Commercial Hospitality SEZ in Ahmedabad.
KPMG USA certified the Company as the first real estate development firm in Gujarat to comply with ISO 9001:2000 standards for quality management and construction practices. In addition, the firm was an early adopter of seismically safe design practices. In 1991, Ganesh Housing Finance Corporation Ltd. was formed as a public limited company in the state of Delaware under the name Ganesh Housing Corporation Ltd. More than 15 million square feet of residential space has been constructed by the firm throughout the years, making it one of the leading real estate developers in Ahmedabad.
In the 1996–97 fiscal year, the corporation focused exclusively on fund–based operations, significantly decreasing its non–fund activities. The last name of the corporation, Ganesh Housing Finance Corporation Ltd, was changed to Ganesh Corporation Ltd during the 1999-2000 fiscal year. The same fiscal year saw the elimination of Sunrise Fincap Ltd as a wholly-owned subsidiary.
The business completed the Ratnam project in 2002–03, followed by the Maniratnam and Maniratnam - II projects in 2003–04. In 2004, the business signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Gujarat under Vibrant Gujarat to establish the International Pharma and Biotech Park in Changodar - Matoda, Ahmedabad. Construction on the park was completed the following year, in 2005–06.
In 2006–07, the firm and the Government of Gujarat agreed to create a Special Economic Zone for IT and ITES in Chharodi. In February 2007, the company and the Government of Gujarat agreed to create an Integrated Township under the title of "Smart City" in Godhavi village, Sanand. During the year, the firm expanded into the commercial real estate market by constructing Ganesh Plaza-I and II.
On October 1, 2006, Ramasagar Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., Nachiket Properties Pvt. Ltd., Manjari (Thaltej) Complex Pvt. Ltd., Shaharsh Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., and Ganesh Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. merged to form the current firm. During the same period, wholly-owned subsidiaries Ganesh Infrastructure (India) Pvt Ltd and Yash Organiser Pvt Ltd were established. Integrated township development by Ganesh Infrastructure (India) Pvt Ltd on 210 acres of land is underway in the Ahmedabad neighbourhood of Ognaj. The firm has partnered with a private equity firm, Monsoon India Infrastructure Direct II Ltd. A commercial shopping mall called FLOMAX is being built in Ahmedabad by Yash Organiser.
The firm is now developing a golfing community over 450 acres in Godhavi, Ahmedabad. There are also three residential developments in full swing: Shangri-La, Shangri-La-II, and Mahalaya-II. As of this writing, the business has spent Rs 342.29 million on its Mallmax project in Paldi. They also have two residential developments, Maple County and Suyojan, under construction.
