Plywood laminates, decorative veneers, and medium-density fibre boards are the main products that Century Plyboards (India) Ltd (CPIL) produces and sells. Container Freight Station Services and Pre-laminated Boards, Particle Board, and Flush Doors. The organization has production centres around Kolkata, Karnal, Guwahati, Hoshiarpur, Kandla, and Chennai. Kolkata Port is next to its Container Freight Station (CFS). On January 5, 1982, Century Plyboards (India) Limited was formally established. The Company pioneered the use of borer-proof plywood in India in 1997.

In 2002, it was the first Company in India to sell decorative veneer from its Architect Ply, Fantasy, and Flexoply lines. The Company's laminate factory began producing laminate in 2004. The Pre-Lam particleboard factory opened in March 2005. The Company expanded its plywood and veneer-related products by beginning the production of high-pressure laminates, pre-laminated particle boards, and medium-density fiberboard. The Scheme of Arrangement between the Company and Shyam Century Ferrous Ltd took effect on April 1, 2005, allowing for the merger of both companies for the 2005-06 fiscal year.

With the effective date of October 1, 2005, Cement Manufacturing Company Ltd became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company due to the merger between SCFL and the Company. With effect from March 23, 2006, Megha Technical Engineers Pvt. Ltd. Auro Sundaram Ply & Doors Pvt. Ltd. is a plywood manufacturing company located in the Raipur Industrial Area in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. In the 2006–07 fiscal year, the Company purchased a majority stake in the Company.

The Company purchased a controlling interest (51%) in Century Star Shipping Ltd's stock on November 27, 2006, becoming Century Star Shipping Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Century Panels Pvt Ltd, Sharon Veneers Pvt Ltd, and Sharon Wood Industries Pvt Ltd merged on April 1, 2007, during the 2007-08 fiscal year. On June 2, 2007, Also Cement Manufacturing Co Ltd purchased a majority stake in Star Cement Meghalaya Ltd, becoming SCML, a wholly owned subsidiary. Cent Ply Pvt. Ltd. (CPPL) became the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary as of October 1, 2008, after the Company acquired a 100% controlling stake in CPPL during the 2008-09 fiscal year.

Following the acquisition of a majority stake in Meghalaya Power Ltd (MPL) by the Company and its wholly-owned subsidiary CMCL on July 14, 2008, MPL was formally incorporated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.

Effective April 1, 2009, the business's wholly-owned subsidiary, Cent Ply Pvt Ltd, was merged into the Company. After July 6, 2009, Aegis Business Ltd (ABL) became a firm subsidiary after the Company acquired a majority stake in the Company. Since July 15, 2009, when ABL purchased a majority stake in Aegis Overseas Ltd (AOL), AOL has become an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of ABL.

In the fiscal year ending 31 March 2014, Century Plyboards (India) purchased a fifty per cent share in Century Infotech Ltd., making Century Infotech an Associate Company. Century Infotech Ltd. deals in a wide variety of items and services over the internet, including those purchased, marketed, traded, and sold by the Company itself.

Centuryply Myanmar Pvt Ltd (CMPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Century Plyboards (India), established a veneer and plywood business near Yangon city in Myanmar in 2013–14.

Century Plyboards (India) divested its stake in Aegis Business Ltd. in the fiscal year ending 31 March 2015. (ABL). It was effective as of the 23rd of August, 2014, that Century Plyboards (India) was no longer a subsidiary of ABL or its subsidiary, Aegis Overseas Limited.
