About Alok Inds
Inaugural Remarks of Alok Industries Limited we have an unrivalled foothold in India's Cotton and Polyester markets, and we're the country's most significant fully integrated textile enterprise. Our path to the top was straightforward: we invested heavily in state-of-the-art infrastructure, cutting-edge technology, rigorous quality control measures, and constant product development. One more is our unwavering commitment to going above and beyond for our clients. Our first polyester texturizing facility was built in 1989, although Alok was incorporated as a private limited company in 1986. In 1993, we made the transition to a public limited corporation. We have grown to include weaving, knitting, processing, and the manufacture of both home textiles and clothing. We've incorporated the continuous polymerization method backwards into cotton spinning and partly oriented yarn production to guarantee quality and save money. With the help of our sister firm, Grabal Alok Impex Ltd., we now provide embroidered goods. As a result, we can now offer a wide variety of clients, including other factories, wholesalers, retailers, and even some of the most well-known brands in the world, with high-quality products across a wide range of textiles, garments, clothing fabrics, and polyester yarns.
Alok has a significant footing in the domestic retail industry via a wholly owned subsidiary, Alok H&A Limited, under the cash & carry model that sells clothing and home textiles at affordable prices.
Grabal Alok (UK) Limited operates stores worldwide, Alok's affiliated company. More than two hundred of this company's retail locations may be found throughout England, Scotland, and Wales, selling quality goods at affordable prices. Gross sales exceed Rs. 8900 crores Profit from overseas sales reaches Rs. 3030 crores. The expansion of polyester manufacturing from 900 tonnes per day to 1400 tonnes per day is already complete. Total consolidated income of the company decreased by 9.50% at Rs 1729.05 crore for Q2FY23
Alok Industries has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2022.
The company has reported net loss at Rs 191.05 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 74.52 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 10.65% at Rs 1678.84 crore for Q2FY23 as compared Rs 1878.98 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss at Rs 191.50 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 84.11 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 9.50% at Rs 1729.05 crore for Q2FY23 as compared Rs 1910.50 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
