Adani Green Energy’s subsidiary -- Adani Wind Energy MP One (AWEMP1PL) has commissioned a 324.4 MW Wind Power Plant in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. The plant has two 25-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) of 274.4 MW and 50 MW, at Rs 2.83/kwh.

Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has commissioned 600 MW world’s largest co-located Wind-Solar Hybrid power plant ‘Hybrid Power Plant’ at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The plant has Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) with SECI at Rs 2.69/kwh for 25 years.
This Hybrid Power Plant has been implemented with cutting edge technology, consisting of 600 MW Solar and 150 MW Wind plants. The Solar plant uses technologically superior Bifacial PV modules and employs Horizontal Single-Axis Tracker (HSAT) technology to capture maximum energy from the sun. The co-located Hybrid Power Plant shall not only reduce intermittency of RE power, but shall also help the Nation in optimal utilisation of transmission network.
Earlier, in May 2022, AGEL had operationalized India’s first hybrid power plant with a capacity of 390 MW at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. With the successful commissioning of this 600 MW plant, AGEL now has a total operational generation capacity of 6.7 GW, including operational hybrid power generation capacity of 1 GW, the largest in the World. This puts AGEL’s total renewable portfolio of 20.4 GW well on track to reach its vision of 45 GW capacity by 2030.
This 600 MW Hybrid plant is housed in two AGEL subsidiaries viz. Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Two (AHEJ2L) and Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Three (AHEJ3L).

This assessment was undertaken by Intertek, which delivers innovative and bespoke assurance, testing, inspection and certification solutions. The robust audit procedure by Intertek was undertaken on the data/information until FY22. This certification validates that the AGEL has in place a fully effective waste management system for all its operational sites.
The AGEL has successfully achieved the landfill diversion rate of 99 per cent. Ever since AGEL undertook the target to become a Zero-Waste-to-Landfill (ZWL) certified company for its 100 per cent of operating capacity by 2024-25, it has complied with all applicable EHS (environment and health safety) requirements and ensured that waste material is disposed in the most environmentally sound manner.

Adani Green Energy’s subsidiary -- Adani Wind Energy MP One (AWEMP1PL) has commissioned a 324.4 MW Wind Power Plant in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. The plant has two 25-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) of 274.4 MW and 50 MW, at Rs 2.83/kwh.
With the successful commissioning of this plant, Adani Green Energy has increased its operational generation capacity to 6.1 GW. This places company’s total renewable portfolio of around 20.4 GW well on track to reach its vision of 25 GW capacity by 2025. The newly commissioned plant will be managed by the Adani Group’s intelligent ‘Energy Network Operation Centre’ platform, which has proven technological capability and has aided company in achieving superior operational performance of its entire renewable portfolio spread across diverse locations in India.

Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has commissioned 600 MW world’s largest co-located Wind-Solar Hybrid power plant ‘Hybrid Power Plant’ at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The plant has Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) with SECI at Rs 2.69/kwh for 25 years.
This Hybrid Power Plant has been implemented with cutting edge technology, consisting of 600 MW Solar and 150 MW Wind plants. The Solar plant uses technologically superior Bifacial PV modules and employs Horizontal Single-Axis Tracker (HSAT) technology to capture maximum energy from the sun. The co-located Hybrid Power Plant shall not only reduce intermittency of RE power, but shall also help the Nation in optimal utilisation of transmission network.
Earlier, in May 2022, AGEL had operationalized India’s first hybrid power plant with a capacity of 390 MW at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. With the successful commissioning of this 600 MW plant, AGEL now has a total operational generation capacity of 6.7 GW, including operational hybrid power generation capacity of 1 GW, the largest in the World. This puts AGEL’s total renewable portfolio of 20.4 GW well on track to reach its vision of 45 GW capacity by 2030.
This 600 MW Hybrid plant is housed in two AGEL subsidiaries viz. Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Two (AHEJ2L) and Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Three (AHEJ3L).

Total consolidated income of the company increased by 19.49% to Rs 1,686 crore for Q2FY23
Adani Green Energy reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2022.
The company has reported net loss of Rs 93 crore for Q2FY23 as compared to net profit of Rs 101 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 38.68% to Rs 3,042 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 4,961 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported rise of 49% in its net profit of Rs 149 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 100 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.49% to Rs 1,686 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,411 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

Adani Green Energy (AGEL), through its subsidiary Adani Solar Energy AP Six, has raised JPY denominated facility to refinance its existing indebtedness. The facility comprises JPY 27,954 million (c. $200 million equivalent) amortising project loan facility, assessing the 16 years debt structure with door-to-door tenor of 10 years and average tenor of more than 8 years.
The project loan facility is supported by AGEL’s strong relationship with its two core relationship banks - MUFG Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation with equal participation. The facility is also testament of AGEL’s strong relationship with its core banking partners creating the appetite for large size and the long tenor through development of market instruments tapping in liquidity and widening the access to fund raising.
The facility is linked to Tokyo Overnight Average Rate (TONA), a Japanese benchmark rate gauge, which yields close to zero highlighting the appeal to broaden the alternative pools of capital providing relatively competitive interest rates. The company is committed to have access to long-term capital without depleting its growth capital and will continue to look at multiple alternative pools of capital to have the sustainable funding solution to spearhead India’s energy transition.

Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has commissioned its third wind-solar hybrid power plant at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. The combined operational generation capacity of this newly commissioned hybrid power plant is 450 MW. The plant has Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) with SECI at Rs 2.67/kwh for 25 years. This new hybrid power plant, consisting of 420 MW solar and 105 MW wind plants, has been implemented with cutting edge technology. With this hybrid plant, the company now has the largest operational hybrid power generation capacity of 1,440 MW.
Earlier, in May 2022, AGEL had operationalized India’s first hybrid power plant of 390 MW. This was followed by the commissioning, in September 2022, of the world’s largest co-located hybrid power plant of 600 MW. Both these hybrid energy generation assets are located in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. With the successful commissioning of this 450 MW plant, AGEL now has a total operational generation capacity of 7.17 GW. This also makes AGEL the world’s largest wind-solar hybrid power farm developer. The newly commissioned 450 MW hybrid power plant is housed in AGEL’s subsidiary, Adani Solar Energy Jaisalmer One.

Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) has given an approval for 1,600 megawatts pumped hydro storage power projects by Adani Green Energy which will invest Rs 6,330 crore providing direct employment to over 4,000 people.
The company will set up a 1,000 MW plant in Pedakota of Alluri Sitarama Raju district, and a 600 MW plant at Raiwada in Anakapalli and Vizianagaram districts.

Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has received the Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWL) certification for 100 per cent of its operating capacity. This assessment was undertaken by Intertek, which delivers innovative and bespoke assurance, testing, inspection and certification solutions. The robust audit procedure by Intertek was undertaken on the data/information until FY22. This certification validates that the AGEL has in place a fully effective waste management system for all its operational sites.
The AGEL has successfully achieved the landfill diversion rate of 99 per cent. Ever since AGEL undertook the target to become a Zero-Waste-to-Landfill (ZWL) certified company for its 100 per cent of operating capacity by 2024-25, it has complied with all applicable EHS (environment and health safety) requirements and ensured that waste material is disposed in the most environmentally sound manner.

The acquisition will expand AGEL’s footprint in the state of Rajasthan
Adani Green Energy’s (AGEL) Wholly-owned Subsidiary -- Adani Renewable Energy Holding Two has entered into a binding term sheet on January 17, 2023 for acquisition of 50% equity interest in Essel Saurya Urja Company of Rajasthan (ESUCRL) from Seller. The cost of acquisition is Rs 15 crore and the transaction is expected to be completed by February 28, 2023.
The acquisition will expand AGEL’s footprint in the state of Rajasthan, where the AGEL already owns and operates solar park in a joint venture Company with Government of Rajasthan i.e. Adani Renewable Energy Park Rajasthan.

Adani Green Energy (AGEL), the renewables arm of the Adani Group, now has its fourth wind-solar hybrid power plant fully operational at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan and the asset has been capitalized. The combined operational generation capacity of this newly added hybrid power plant is 700 Megawatt (MW) and has a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) at Rs 3.24/kwh for 25 years.
This new hybrid power plant consists of a combination of 600 MW solar and 510 MW wind plants. The latest hybrid plant deploys advanced renewable technologies like bifacial solar PV modules and horizontal single-axis trackers (HSAT) systems to enable maximum electricity generation from solar energy. The plant is co-located and is designed to deliver CUF of minimum 50%, the highest CUF of any renewable project in India. The plant harnesses the potential of renewable energy by resolving intermittency of the generation and provides a more reliable solution to meet the rising power demand. With this, AGEL’s operating wind-solar hybrid portfolio has now reached 2,140 MW, continuing to be the largest in the world.
With the successful operationalisation of the 700 MW plant, the world’s largest wind-solar hybrid power plant, AGEL now has the largest operating renewable portfolio in India with 8,024 MW. The plant is housed under AGEL’s 100% subsidiary, Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Four Limited.
